                VEHICLE
                  TROUBLE
                 Two
weeks ago our car broke down (again). It was
taken to the mechanic who said that the same was going to happen
to the other side soon.Transporting heavy bags of rice
to people in need, plus the kids to school
every day, and all that on the terrible roads
there take their toll. We're in dire need of a new vehicle.
The costs for repairing just this side are $1,600.

                We
also need to fix the road to our property and the entrance
as it's very hard on the car and construction can only continue
once that is done and the trucks can get to our base.

                PROPERTY
                  TROUBLE
                 Last
week one of the walls of our children's center
and church in Bamako collapsed due to the heavy
rains. It will have to be rebuilt immediately
for everyone to be safe. It will cost $2,900.

                BACK
                  TO SCHOOL
                 School
has started but we do not have the funds to pay all the school
fees and buy school materials for
everyone in our sponsorship program going to school. We usually
need about $10,000 in the beginning of the
school year. We've told our kids to be patient
and trust God to provide. While the sponsorships help take care
of them, they are by far not sufficient to cover all the expenses
                  for the children.

                FINANCIAL
                  LOWPOINT
                Inflation,
fewer supporters, car breakdown, wall falling in - this challenging
season is not over by any means but seems to become
even more challenging. However, while the enemy tries to stop
us whichever way possible, our God provides,
and Malians are healed, delivered and saved and God's
                  kingdom expanded every day.

            QUICK
              NEWS

              -        Daily
Blog - If you are not on Facebook but would still like
to read my (nearly) daily blog about our life (with the
triplets), including pictures, you can do so on our website.

                      Triplets
                - The children had a great start in school last week,
all three attending first grade, and all three
love school so far. Their afternoon classes are
                also slowly starting up again.

              -        Looking
For Students - Unfortunately school is much more
expensive than kindergarten, and the institute where
I teach has decreased how much they pay their
teachers. Therefore I'm looking for more private students.
If you know someone who needs a teacher or tutor for English
(including Business English), German or French,
children or adults, please let me know. Since I teach
online using Zoom, the student can be anywhere in the
                world.

              -        Situation
in Mali - The government in Mali continues throwing
anyone who is critical of them into jail. They
have just foiled a coup from within the Malian army, arresting
two top generals. The jihadists continue attacking
and have recently been targeting Chinese operations
in Mali and kidnapping Chinese nationals. As they're still waiting
for our return to kidnap us, we cannot travel to Mali
                for the time being.

              -        Malian
Director Paul - Please pray for Paul
who carries the full weight of the work in Mali on his shoulders.
Pray also for his safety as he moves around a
lot, while jihadists are increasing their attacks everywhere.
His wife Rokia is expecting their fourth child.

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these
things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about
tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough
              trouble of its own.
