Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because
you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance
must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking
anything. (Jam 1:2-4)

Always be joyful. Keep on praying. No matter what happens, always be
thankful, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. (1.Thess
5:15-18)

I'm so overflowing with thankfulness and gratitude to our wonderful Lord,
Savior and Friend. He's so awesome, He's so good, and He's so gracious and
loving! When we are willing, surrendered to Him, desiring to do His will, He
will take our lives and work on us, transform us, mold us and make us into
that person we're destined to be, more and more transformed into the likeness
of Jesus.
I'm so thankful that He's working on me, that He's considered me worthy of
being worked on and prepared, challenged and sanctified, killed (to be resurrected)
and sent through the furnace. What a privilege and honor! I rejoice in yet
another challenge to overcome victoriously! I may look like a homeless,
broke, illegal foreigner far a way from home, but in reality I’m a very
blessed citizen of the kingdom of God, a princess of the King, a soldier of
the Most High, a student of the ultimate Teacher. I have all I need, and
that's Jesus. And when our eyes are on Him, when our hands are stretched out
to Him, and when our voice is dedicated to Him, then everything else is taken
care of. His presence and His glory makes everything else fade away.
After my 'initial shock' e-mail on Friday, I wanted you to understand what's
really going on. As one of my teachers has been saying, "The lion and
the bear are only to prepare you for the giant." So I rejoice in the
fire, knowing that the outcome will be glorious, for the sake of His kingdom
and His honor on this earth!
I've been spreading the news that I'm looking for a place to live, and I'll
have a few weeks before I have to move out. Doors are opening up, and it
seems that my dream of staying with a family might come true. I do covet your
prayers that will bring forth great fruit in both our lives.
HE is faithful! Who is there like HIM!? Oh that the world would know...
Please remember Austria (and Germany, Czech Republic) in your prayers as many
have lost everything and have nowhere to turn, because they've never heard
the gospel and there are so few to tell them. Pray that the church would
seize this opportunity!
